Owner, Ian Zettle, started in the arboriculture industry in 1997 and founded Acorn Tree Care in 2000. He is a graduate of Humber College holding a degree from the arborculture program.  He is an ISA certified arborist and a certified Landscape Exterminator.

Acorn Tree Care possesses an Operators license to legally apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicide and baterialcides.  Acorn also carries WSIB coverage for all its employees.

All Acorn team members are required to have up to date First Aid and CPR training.
